“ Totally lives up to its 4.9 hype! The portion is huge, and everything is cooked to perfection! I ordered the curry goat and my friend got the oxtail. The curry goat is to die for, perfect amount of herbs and spiciness with tendered goat and the rice with beans was cooked to its best state. Thank you for making amazing food for the community! ”
“ Great food and service! I had Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Coleslaw, as well as Plantains, and it all tasted delicious! The Coconut Drops were too sweet for me but I'll definitely come back for the Jerk Chicken and will definitely try their Oxtail next time. The service was very friendly and accomodating, it's a nice place to go to. ”
“ The curry chicken is next level good. Jerk was great too. Super flavourful and tender! The small size is a large enough portion to keep you full. Pat and staff are so lovely, always friendly. ”
“ I love supporting family-owned businesses, and this one did not disappoint. The establishment was very clean, staff was very kind while providing quick service. The portions were generous, and the flavor of the jerk chicken with rice w/ peas was a 10/10 in my opinion. update: tried the curry goat roti, absolutely insane. 10/10 ”
“ Dined in, ordered an Ackee and Saltfish and curry chicken roti. Generous portions! The roti really hit the spot on a cold, winter day. The ackee was nice and creamy went so well with the rice and peas. We were the only one in the restaurant and we had to wait for our food but we didn’t mind. The food came out nice and hot. The owners were very friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit! ”
“ Unbelievably good. The portion sizes are huge and more than worth the low cost, not to mention the fact that the taste is incredible. My curry goat roti was some of the best food I've eaten in recent memory. The jerk chicken my partner ordered was also delicious, and the patties were strong as well. This may be my favourite restaurant in the town, and I cannot wait to come back. ”
“ Sept 8, 2024: I woke up thinking of that curry goat. I went in during the afternoon to get a large order of curry goat on white rice, a spicy beef and chicken patty. I met Pat! She is a lovely lady and we talked about the culinary experience that is the Toronto food scene. She gave me a sample of oxtail to try as well and these are my remarks: The curry goat is outstanding, it's very flavorful, tender and cooked just right. Paired with the white rice, which is fluffy and not overly flavourful, it makes for a perfect meal. The oxtail is also very good, tender and flavourful, cooked just right. I'd probably get this on white rice too for a future order. The spicy beef patty was yummy, my wife really liked the chicken patty. The macaroni salad and the hot sauce are also on point, the macaroni isnt too heavy on mayo but not too light either. The hot sauce is flavourful and packs a punch, which I like. Portions: the large order is huge, I am stuffed having had half the order and have a very yummy dinner to look forward to! Sept 7, 2024: Passing by, craving a spicy beef patty I stopped in, but unfortunately they were all sold out. The lovely man behind the counter (I believe he is Andrew) offered me a snack, and served up some jerk chicken and curry goat with white rice and man, that curry goat was really good. I wasn't hungry for more tonight but I will be back very soon to get more of that curry goat on rice. Thank you for your hospitality, I love my local small businesses like yours. ”
“ Tasted really good , enjoyed the jerk pork with rice and peas, the Mac salad didn’t have much flavor but was decent for what it was. Service a little slow but there was only 2 people working, clean bathroom , I will be back ”
